“What is community?” This question keeps coming up as we discuss God’s calling for His church. It makes sense that people are asking this question. When we talk about “church” we tend to use words related to buildings and programs rather than people and relationships. But if we are going to speak rightly about the church, we must begin by talking about people and about relationships—with God and with one another. The best way to understand the church is to view it in terms of community.

In short,  The Plan IS the Gospel. The Gospel is the mind-blowing news that Jesus Christ died for sins and rose again, forever victorious over each and every enemy that stood between God and His chief creation: man. Now, because of this amazing work, there is nothing that separates those who believe from their Creator and all the joy that He promises. In order to fully understand what the Gospel is, however, it is important to understand why the Gospel is needed.

Many settle for so much less than what God intended. Perhaps you are one of them. But the Good News of the Gospel is we can be restored and reconciled to the MORE we were created to experience. God came to bring us life and life MORE abundantly. (John 10:10) Abundant living is the way of life based on God’s law of love. It comes from within. This is a happiness given from God that depends on God and is shared in the context of his community. Discover and live your life to the fullest!

Your cares and worries are ours also. Intercessory prayer is a unique and special part of our community. While prayer is a key spiritual discipline, intercessory prayer is a vital part of an intimate community that knows and loves Jesus who is our model of intercessory prayer. We have a community of loving volunteers who will receive an email alert with your prayer request. In today's wired and connected world many of our prayer partners will receive your email to their mobile device right away.
